A vetted idea list your bot keeps growing
Your bot finds new ideas for a list you care about, checks them against your rules, and credits every source.
What it does
Pick something you like collecting: easy weeknight recipes, hobby project ideas, family activities, homeschool resources, small group discussion ideas, or tips for your trade. A few times a day or week, your bot looks for new ideas, checks each one against the rules you gave it, adds only the ones that pass to a shared list, and links the original source. Afterward it tells you what it added and what it skipped, so you can trust the list even when you don't check every item.
Example output
Update (example): Added 2: • Sheet-pan chicken fajitas: 25 minutes, one pan, common ingredients. Source: a state extension recipe page (linked) • Slow cooker white chicken chili: dump-and-go, freezes well. Source: a home cook's blog (linked, credited) Skipped 1: • "Gourmet beef Wellington": over your 30-minute rule List now has 37 ideas.
Copy-paste prompt
Keep a growing, vetted list of [topic, e.g. easy weeknight dinners / woodworking projects for beginners / rainy-day family activities]. Where the list lives: [Google Doc / Notion page / notes doc / shared spreadsheet]. On a schedule ([e.g. every morning and evening]): 1. Look for new ideas on trustworthy sources: [sites, channels, or kinds of sources I trust]. Skip listicles, content farms, and anything behind a paywall. 2. Check each idea against my rules. Only add it if it passes all of them: - [Rule 1, e.g. takes 30 minutes or less] - [Rule 2, e.g. costs under $X / uses common tools or ingredients] - [Rule 3, e.g. family friendly and safe] - Not already on the list (no near-duplicates) 3. For each idea you add, write: a short title, 2-3 lines on what it is and why it fits, and a link to the original source with credit to whoever made it. Never invent details or claim results the source doesn't show. 4. After each run, send me a short update: what you added (with links), what you skipped and why (one line each). If nothing passed, say nothing. Never post anything publicly, buy anything, or contact anyone without asking me first.
