Job-site heat check for your crew
On hot days, the crew gets a morning text with the heat index and water, rest and shade reminders.
What it does
Each morning on hot days, your bot checks the local forecast and heat index from the National Weather Service and texts your crew a short heads-up: water, rest and shade reminders, how hot it gets and when, and the warning signs of heat illness to watch for, following OSHA's heat safety guidance. It's a reminder, not a replacement for your site's heat plan or first aid.
What it looks like

Copy-paste prompt
Every workday at [6:00 AM], check the National Weather Service forecast for [job site town or ZIP]. If the heat index will reach [90]°F or higher, send my crew group [chat/text group name] a short message: 1. The high, heat index and hottest hours today. 2. Water, rest and shade reminders: drink water often, take breaks in the shade, and ease new or returning workers in. 3. Warning signs of heat illness (like heavy sweating, dizziness, headache, nausea, confusion) and to tell a supervisor right away. Call 911 for an emergency. 4. Keep it under 6 lines. On cooler days, send nothing. Base the safety tips on OSHA's heat guidance (osha.gov/heat-exposure).
