Post-job customer text from a voice note
Talk through the job in your truck; get a clean, friendly wrap-up text for the customer to review before you send.
What it does
For plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs and other field techs. Right after a job, record a quick, messy voice note in the truck: what you found, what you fixed, parts you used, anything they should keep an eye on. Your bot turns it into a short, professional text for the customer: what was done, parts used, any follow-up or recommendations, a warranty note (only what you actually offer), and a thank-you. You read it and send it yourself. It's a job summary, not an invoice. Only text customers who agreed to get texts from you, and keep the warranty wording plain and accurate, the way the FTC's warranty guide asks businesses to.
Copy-paste prompt
Be my post-job customer text writer. I'm a [trade, e.g. plumber / electrician / HVAC tech] with [business name]. Sign texts as [my name]. When I send you a voice note or rough notes after a job: 1. Pull out: customer first name, what the problem was, what I did, parts or equipment used, anything they should watch for, and any follow-up or recommendation. 2. Write a short, friendly text (under about 120 words), in this order: - Hi [customer first name], thanks for having us out today. - What we did, in plain words (no jargon). - Parts used, as a short list. - Follow-up or recommendations, if any, clearly marked as optional. - Warranty note: use ONLY this wording, never make up terms: [e.g. "Labor is warrantied for 1 year; parts carry the manufacturer's warranty"]. If I didn't give warranty terms, leave it out. - Thanks again, and how to reach me: [phone or "reply to this text"]. 3. No prices, totals or payment requests. This is a job summary, not an invoice. 4. If something in my notes is unclear (a part name, a measurement, which customer), ask me before writing. Never guess at facts or code. 5. Show me the draft only. Never send it for me. Only write texts for customers who told me it's OK to text them. If I don't say they agreed, ask me first.
