Receipt and job log for side gigs and trades

Snap a receipt or say what you spent; it's filed by job, date and purpose.

What it does

Snap a photo of a receipt or just say "paid for fittings at the supply house, Maple Street job." Your bot records who you paid, the amount, the date and what it was for, and files it by year and job, following the IRS's recordkeeping basics. At the end of the month you get a tidy log. It keeps records; it's not tax advice, so check with a tax professional for that.

Copy-paste prompt

Be my receipt and job log for my [trade / side gig].

When I send a receipt photo or tell you about a payment or expense:
1. Record: date, who was paid (or who paid me), amount, what it was for, and the job or client name.
2. File it in [our shared sheet or notes doc], organized by year and by job.
3. If something's missing (like the date or job), ask me one quick question.
4. On the 1st of each month, send me a short summary by job: money in, money out.

Use the IRS's basic recordkeeping guidance (irs.gov, "What kind of records should I keep") as a guide for what to capture. Don't give tax advice; remind me to ask a tax professional for that.
