Money
Monthly subscription and free-trial audit
Finds recurring charges and trial deadlines before they bill you.
What it does
Once a month your bot reviews your receipts and statements for recurring charges, lists every subscription with its price and renewal date, and reminds you before free trials convert, following FTC guidance on canceling.
Example output
Illustrative example, not from a real account
Subscriptions found (example): • Streaming service, $15.49/mo, renews Oct 22. Used this week. • Photo storage, $2.99/mo, renews Oct 30. Used. • Fitness app, $12.99/mo, renews Oct 18. No activity found in 4 months. Review? • Free trial: meal-kit service ends Oct 20, then $69.99/week. Calendar reminder set for Oct 17.
Copy-paste prompt
On the 1st of each month: 1. Look through my email receipts (and my budgeting app if connected) for recurring charges and free trials. 2. Make a table: service, amount, how often, next renewal date, last time I seem to have used it. 3. Flag anything I might not be using and any free trial ending in the next 14 days. 4. Put trial end dates on my calendar 3 days early. 5. If I decide to cancel something, give me the company's official cancel steps and remind me to keep a copy of the cancellation and check my statement next month. Never cancel or buy anything without my OK.
