Suspicious email and text checker
Forward a sketchy message; get a plain verdict and what to do next.
What it does
Forward or paste any email or text that feels off. Your bot checks it against the FTC's common phishing signs, like urgency, unexpected invoices, and links to "fix" an account, and tells you what to do without ever clicking the links.
Example output
Illustrative example, not from a real account
Verdict: Likely scam
Signs: says your streaming account is "on hold" over a billing problem; generic greeting ("Dear customer"); urges you to click a link to update payment within 24 hours; sender domain doesn't match the company.
Next step: don't click. Open the app or type the company's website yourself to check your account. Report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, then delete it.Copy-paste prompt
When I forward or paste a message and say "check this": 1. Do NOT open any links or attachments in it. 2. Check it against common phishing signs: unexpected contact, urgency or threats, a problem with my account or payment, an invoice I don't recognize, a link to update payment info, a generic greeting, a mismatched sender address. 3. Give me a verdict (Likely scam / Unclear / Looks legit) and the specific signs you saw. 4. Tell me the safe next step: contact the company through a website or number I already know, report it, or delete it.
