Close to YouTube monetization? Check your Partner Program readiness

Paste your YouTube Studio numbers and your last 10 video titles; get your progress toward both Partner Program tiers, what doesn't count, and an honest reused-content self-check.

What it does

No bot required. YouTube's Partner Program (YPP) has a short list of must-haves before the numbers even matter. YouTube Help says you need to follow the channel monetization policies, live in a country or region where YPP is available, have no active Community Guidelines strikes, turn on 2-Step Verification for your Google Account, have advanced features access, and have (or be ready to set up in YouTube Studio) one AdSense for YouTube account. The YouTube for Creators page lists two tiers. The first opens with 500 subscribers, 3 qualified uploads in the past 90 days, and either 3,000 qualified watch hours on long-form videos in the past 365 days or 3 million qualified Shorts views in the past 90 days, and it lists earning features like Channel Memberships, Supers and Shopping. The second, which unlocks more earning features, takes 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 qualified long-form watch hours in the past 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in the past 90 days. "Qualified" matters. Private, unlisted and deleted videos don't count, and neither do ads or live streams that weren't kept as videos. Watch hours from Shorts in the Shorts feed don't count toward the long-form hours, and YouTube's blog explains that qualified Shorts views are engaged views from public Shorts, not loops. Hitting the numbers isn't automatic. Reviewers look at the channel as a whole, typically within about a month. YouTube's reused content policy says clips you didn't make need significant original commentary or changes (a critical review, a reaction with your commentary, or explaining the moves in a replay are its examples), and its inauthentic content policy rules out channels where videos feel interchangeable or made from a template. Using AI to help edit a script is fine if the final video still shows your own creative vision. If you're turned down, you can appeal within 21 days or keep uploading and reapply after 30 days. A first Community Guidelines violation is usually a warning, and an optional policy training can make it expire after 90 days. Paste your numbers and recent titles into any chat AI and it shows how far you are from each tier and which videos a reviewer might question.

Help me check how close my YouTube channel is to the YouTube Partner Program. Use YouTube Help's "YouTube Partner Program overview & eligibility," the YouTube for Creators YPP page, "YouTube channel monetization policies" and "Community Guidelines strike basics on YouTube" as background. Don't promise I'll get in. YouTube's reviewers decide.

My channel: [gaming / tech / tutorials / faith / family / cooking / other]. Mostly [long videos / Shorts / both].
From YouTube Studio (Earn and Analytics): subscribers [ ]; public uploads in the last 90 days [ ]; qualified long-form watch hours, last 365 days [ ]; Shorts engaged views, last 90 days [ ].
2-Step Verification on: [yes / no / not sure]. Advanced features: [yes / no / not sure]. AdSense for YouTube linked: [yes / no]. Any Community Guidelines warnings or strikes: [none / warning / strike, and when].
My last 10 videos (title, plus one line on how I made it, like "my own gameplay with my commentary" or "clips from another channel with captions"): [paste]

1. Show my progress in a small table for both tiers: 500 subscribers, 3 uploads in 90 days, and 3,000 watch hours or 3M Shorts views; then 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours or 10M Shorts views. Show how much is left for each, and remind me that the first tier depends on my country or region.
2. Remind me what doesn't count: private, unlisted and deleted videos, ads, live streams that weren't kept as videos, and Shorts feed watch hours toward the long-form total.
3. Go through my 10 videos against the reused and inauthentic content policies. Flag any that are mostly someone else's clips without much commentary, or that look like the same template over and over. For each one flagged, suggest a fix, like adding my own commentary, narration or explanation.
4. Make a short checklist of the non-number items: 2-Step Verification, advanced features, AdSense for YouTube (set up only inside YouTube Studio), and no active strikes.
5. If I have a warning, explain the optional policy training and the 90 days in plain words.
6. Give me 3 realistic next steps for the next 30 days. No sub-for-sub, view-buying or clickbait ideas.
